What Exercises Best for Mass?

I?m looking for the most effective exercises or routines to help me build more muscle mass.

All responses will be greatly appreciated.

Hello Muscleman,

Compound movements, that is, exercises that involve more than one set of muscles at a time are best for building mass.

The simplest of these being: bench press, squats, dead lifts.

Avoid "isolation" movements as these tend to work smaller muscle groups which ultimately wind up being already worked when you do the compound movements as mentioned above.

For mass building it is best to spend all energies on these compound movements as they will boost your body's natural production of growth hormones while stimulating the bulk of the body's muscles at the same time.
